aux output...

i recently bought the doubled ended male plug for my ipod shuffle

i plug it to my ipod and the aux plug on hte dash, but when i click aux, it says no aux output

is the problem cause of my ipod is a shuffle? anyone know what the problem could be?

A good way to check is to plug it into another source like a home stereo or CD player. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with your car and it's just a bad cable. That's usually the case. Or you can jiggle it around while it's in your dash to see if it's a bad connection.

You click play before connecting the shuffle right?

If so, I agree with Generic, try another cable, you might be able to grab one from your pc speakers to test it out.

this may sound stupid but make sure it's in all the way lol it happend to me a few times, it didn't want to play or it would play at a really low sound, just make sure you push it in all the way

It sholdn't be the shuffle because my shuffle works.

i tried playing with it for half an hour...im sure its not the way its plugged.. but it just wont work... maybe its the wire? il have ot look into it
