I think the interface connector is located in the center console. I know that on the new Infinitis that is where it is located. There is a cable that is required that is required to connect your Ipod. I do not know what options you have and their may be an AUX port somewhere. I do not have access to the owners manual today.

I don't believe that any of the models have an aux "output", only an audio video "input".

The LE has the IPOD harness/connection within the center arm rest/console. All models should have the Audio video "input" - Left/Right/Video under the small cover on the aft of the center console.

That is the only input that I know of. If you want to input your MP3 or other with a 1/8inch plug then you will need an 1/8inch plug to left/right RCA jack adapter cord from Radio Shack and or Best Buy etc.

Cheers

Read my post above :-)

It's not "in" the console unless you have an "LE". And even then the LE "in console" aux in is for an IPOD only - as in a specific IPOD connector/cannon plug.

There is no "headphone" style input/output. Look on the back of the console - as in from sitting in the back seat. Lift up the cover that's about 1/3 of the way down and you will find the audio and/or video in.... That is the only input on an SL.

Then again, do you have the Nav?? I'd have to look but I thought it had one on the front of the head unit/ AC control head area by the CF card adapter.?

Cheers

VQMaxima, it would help if you posted the options/packages that came with your vehicle. On the SL, there are only 2 places I know of where the Aux input would be located.

One is at the rear of the center armrest, just above the storage drawer in the backseat. It may be easier to access it from the backseat while you plug in the cables.

The other location is on the headunit itself. It should be on the lower right side of the radio under the tune button.

If you don't have the Premium and/or Tech package you probably don't have any "inputs"

Your owners manual will reference each as applicable.

The CDN brochure and the Owner's Manual clearly indicates there is an AUX INPUT, yet mine is nowhere to be found. The manual shows that it should be on the front lower console just under the position of the passenger's temp control. The dealer said the AUX is somewhere in the rear of the vehicle which makes no sense, I looked and did not find it there. Is it possible that what they mean is that the AUX input actually is the video/audio input in the console ahead of the rear seating??? If only they had put it where it is shown to be !@#$%

The "white/red/yellow - audio video input on the aft portion of the center console is the only one that I know of. Will work for an ipod yet is more for the backseat video "stuff".
