Hello

my friend accidentally pulled my aux cord and broke off the tip (tip that pops out) of the aux jack input.

do you guys know if the dealer have replacement parts for just the aux input jack or do they have to replace the whole radio unit?

they called me to bring it in but i want to know in advance because the nissan dealer is pretty far away.

Thank You

i have a similar problem with my auxilary jack, its loose and the music cuts out from time to time because of the jack being displaced.

frankly the only way to replace it is to replace the whole radio. im saving up for an in dash nav radio.

The warranty on the '09 is 3 yr/36,000 miles (drivetrain is 5/60).

Two buttons on my stereo went out a few weeks ago. I was planning on replacing it anyway with a Pioneer I had but I wanted a working one in case I decided to swap back one day or sell it. I took mine in and they said there was a short in the radio. They ordered me one and put it in. Problem solved.

I have decided that I am holding onto my A/C for the long run (it has been a great car), so I am getting ready to list the replacement stereo online that was in my car for 2 days. Let me know if you are interested (if you are out of warranty or want to stay stock). If you are in warranty than just take it in and they will fix it.

Thanks. Ima go to the dealer today if they can replace mine. I hope they don't charge me. I'll let you as soon as I hear from the dealer
