AUX IN on 97 Maxima

So I can only use the AUXNISS CD changer AUX input adapter for models 98 and up. And the 8 pin DIN aux with Momentary switch doesn't apply since I only have the 6 PIN phone DIN and 12 pin Cd changer for Clarion / Bose model PN2121K. So what do I do for AUX in? Can I do a momentary switch for the CD changer AUX ON pin or something? Note: I have read topic zerothread/194403 but the solution by REX is much too complicated for me and I think this only applies for a 98 also. Please help!
