Good afternoon all,

New to forum, if I'm not mistaken the base 2006 g35 (no nav.) :frown: doesn't come with an aux in cord.
I was wondering what would be the easiest / cheapest method to get one installed?
and as a bonus ? what are some recommended HU to put in.

Thanks much

If you are going to put a head unit in don't worry about an auxiliary in because the head unit will come with one. I would personally find a nice touch screen double din. They look really good but don't go cheap. If you want a single din then go with the Alpine that has the small screen on the side. It has a great interface. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_403 ... 05SBT.html If you decide to keep the stock head unit then you can go with an adapter that taps into your satellite radio. http://www.crutchfield.com/g_50900/Auxi ... s.html?o=f

It seems like the price of an adapter is pretty pricey jus' for an aux. Hmm, yeah, I was thinking 'bout the double din as well. Any recommendations and will the HU still work with the stearing wheel buttons?

Thanks for input.

You need to get an adapter for the steering wheel controls. I would just stick with a name brand that has good reviews. I like the full screen ones without the buttons.

If you replace the headunit and want the steering wheel buttons to work then check out the PAC SWI-X.
