autozone custom intake kit?

Well.... just looking at options an i did see one at autozone. it looked like a chrome painted plastic tubing (none on the inside to chip off and get sucked into the engine). Anyway, i am really low on cash and i just wanted to get some sort of hp gain to my stock slowmobile. kk thanx. please refrain from leaving a**holish comments thnx.

to be completely honest there isn't much difference. The material might be of worse quality, but no matter how you look at it, its really just a tube with a cone filter on the end of it. I can't find an autozone intake online so i'm not sure what type of filter they use but it shouldn't make much of a difference.

I just dropped in a K7N Air Filter; CAIs are illegal in the state of Maryland and I don't need any points on my CDL.
