Has anyone really got in to racing thier 03' M or Q. I know they are kinda of heavy but just wanted to see of these babies could handle a weekend warrior autox or road course event lets say twice a month.
How do you think the engine will hold up if maintained well? and a estimated price to replace engine if it blows?
m stuck between selling my 240 and working on the M more, I just think there is so much potential left in the M especially now that they make coilovers now for it.
ANY SUGGESTIONS?

As always, it's your vehicle and you can do whatever you want with it.
My opinion is that cars should be used as they were designed to be used (within reason). The M45 is a big, heavy, comfortable luxury car. Can you AutoX it? Sure. Should you AutoX it? Your call. Would *I* AutoX it? No way.
I'd put it on bags, drive it to the event, drop it to the tarmac and watch the sun reflect off the flawless black hood while basking in the glow of the sexual advances of all the women who want to slide their naked rumps over the supple leather of my back seat while their bf is out talking about how "boss" his $1300 Miata is.
A 240 might get you laid, but an M45 will give you room to make sure she never forgets it.
