just got back from a local event. me and cory (cdlong) both drove his s14, it was my first time driving one so i was pretty stoked. im still tinkering with my coilovers so thats why i wasnt driving mine. boy did that feel like a different car, but it was still alotta fun. its just fun to autox another car for a change. cory is wearing red (24 stx) and im in the green (124stx)

Looks like you had a lot of fun. That civic's doing some mad three-wheeling.

Are those the German glass headlights? Or just some really clear plastic ones?

haha, i work at honeywell in chesterfield VA, im surpirsed they allowed an autox, here theyd be like, "you want to set up cones to do what!??"

yeah, wrx's love STX, but its all driver, so alot people think just because they have a wrx means theyre an awesome driver, then they get beat by stock miatas.

i'll try to answer some of the comments.

there was a big hump in the course, and the light assed civic was getting flipped up on two wheels. those would have to be some awesome brakes and tires.

nismofly- brakes upgrades more than just pads and lines will only bump you up to STX. check the rules on SCCA's website.

they are R32 GTR wheels. i love them too. 16x8 +30 and 17 lbs.

brisknfade - they are german glass lights, they would be even clearer but they are still caked in bugs. that's even after going through a car wash.

hey ben, post up that pic of the SAE car oversteering and the shot looking down the side when i'm behind the protege.

use one of these pics when you make that sig you were talking about. unless you haev some better ones still on your camera.

That last picture is tje University of Toledo's Formula SAE car, I saw that car at formula competition in detroit in late may. At my school, I'm part of the Formula SAE club and I can attest to the fact that they are pure autox machines... weights range from 380-500lbs, with power coming from sport bike engines up to 610cc breathing through 20mm restrictors. Some teams turbocharge, but the restrictor limits the HP numbers to about 70 or 80 for good teams...I'll post more pics and info of the Carnegie Mellon University car if you guys would like.
