autox on drag radials

i have a friend with a cammed LT1 firehawk that is coming with me to the next autox. he is thinking he is going to kick my *** because he has an F-body but says he is going to use nitto 555r drag radials and how they are built "almost like the autox tire" and i think he is full of it and going to crappy. i hope i am right and whoop him with my near stock s14 on azenis sports. ( he has never done it before and i won the novice class at the last event).

and the nt555r's suck for drag racing anyway its a "wanna be" drag tire...-chet

He's going down. Well maybe not, you could get drunk first, and make it a little more fair. I had a 95 z28, fast yes. F-bodys handle like a free standing bathtub full of water on roller skates.

its all driver. If you are a better driver, you will beat him. The car doesnt play all that much into this equation as yall think.

i went up to his tires today and pushed on the sidewall with my hand and it was freakishly soft. and they are built to handle HAHAHA. my azenis are so hard i couldnt put them on the rim at school because are machine is too weak. oh well we will wait and see.
