I have a 95 S14, stock vlsd, one peice driveshaft, cheap CAI, but otherwise stock engine. I have KYB AGX's all around on Eibach Sportlines. Camber is around -1.9 up front and -2.6 out back. Thats how it ended up with the new suspension and i never bothered to adjust it since there's so little room to adjust without spending more money. I usually run 40psi all around and the KYB's at 2 up front and 4 out back.

My problem is that there's way to much understeer, i'm just plowing over the front tires if i push it at all. I'd like to creat just a hint of oversteer, not enough to be drifting all over the course but just that little bit of controlled oversteer when i push too hard as apposed to plowing. Anyone have any tips for what i could do with my setup to achieve this, or at least improve things? All i have to adjust is my tire pressure and struts...don't have the money at the moment to buy more parts...

technique. are you still holding down on the brake when you turn in? if so, you're asking too much from your front tires and they lose traction.

picture 2 strings being tied to the bottom of your steering wheel. the end of one string is tied to the gas pedal, the other one to the brake, both have a little slack. you can push the gas pedal to the floor with little slack in the string to turn the steering wheel, but if you let up on the gas a little, you will gradually be more and more able to turn the wheel. same applies with the brake. you might be trail braking too much like mr. akito said. you might also be applying too much throttle. do your tires have a lot of tread? also, try to be as progressive with the throttle as you can. since you have VLSD, you should be able to pull some awesome powerslides with the right technique.

you might try adjusting tire pressure to be staggered. try say 35 up front and 42 or so out back. also, if you want it to be a bit more tail happy, crank the rear suspension up another notch.

just suggestions.

you should lower the air in your front tires cus since they have so much its easier for them to lose traction and understear so keep your rear at 40 so it will spin a little more and your front at 30 id think is good so ittle grip or it could just be the way your entering the corner that makes u understear
