after an oil change my autotragic started to act weird and my engine light is on.very weird how much my car have change just from a oil change. the rpm idle at 900rpm when on parked and then jump to 2000rpm when i put into drive and goes down to 700rpm in couple second...is there any sensor that has to do with the transmission to cause the engine light to go on and high harsh shifting...now it shift around 3-4rpm with normal driving, usually it shift around 2-2.5rpm...

yup that was what i was thinking too about i have no cash and need a DD now for school, work...ects..fluids are good...i warp the pedal cable with foil paper to prevent the manifold from burning through it. after i turn the engine on the e-brake and battery light went on..could that cause a senor or fuse to fail... that is when my car started to acted weird..

first things first pull the check engine light code, once you get that info repost and ill help ya figure it out( 10 years mastertech) i dig figuing out these puzzles

i forgot how to check for code on the ecu... i recall turning the key ingintion to start then turn the nob on the ecu fully counterclock wise to turn the ecu to safe mode... then wait to see what lights goes on and off...green flash are 10 and red flash are 1...so for example if i get three green flash and one red flash= 31 code..i remeber doing this on my old KAE...refresh me on this..thanks..
