How do you bypass the clutch when installing autostart in a 89 240sx s13 with an sr20det redtop?

you can always bridge the connection under the pedal

Eliminate the the clutch switch.

yeah, i just cut and wired the wires together. it's a safety switch but my cars in japan never had them. cant stand them. but PLEASE keep your car in neutral at ALL times when you install it. don't want the car running away from you......

In some states it is not legal to install an autostart function if the car is a manual solely because if the car is left in gear it will lurch forward when started.

Woud that screw up cruise control if you have it? I know if you push in the clutch while you're cruising, it turns it off, so is there another sensor of some kind for that, or would your cruise control no longer work?

Hmmm when I push in my clutch while on cruise, it doesn't cut off
