autopower roll bar

ok did a search, what i found is that they are crap when put to the test. are they really or what? well anyways i am plannin on getting a roll bar and i would like to know what what exactly it should be made of and etc. its going in an s13 fb and im taking out the rear seats. i found them the cheapest here http://dgtrials.com/dgstore/s13_safety.html

but i have a guy that said it will be about 4-500 for a four point roll bar installed i think that with the extras? maybe without not sure. is that a good price?
