I had a Sears Platinum Die-Hard Battery in my 2008 Jeep.
It was the best money could buy.

I now have a 2003 Infiniti QX4 4WD now.
I still go camping but not off-roading so I probably won't put a real expensive battery in it I don't think.
The used SUV came with a cheapo battery that will last a couple of years but I'm thinking ahead.

What do most people like to put into their Pathfinders / QX4's?

I've always gone with Kirkland Signature. They're one of the less expensive brands, but have always lasted 5 years before starting to have trouble turning over when the Canadian winter kicks in.

If anything goes wrong with it, Costco's exchange policy is great too. Full refund if it's within 3 years; a percentage of your money back between 37-100 months. (For example, 60% back if it's in the 37-45 month range).

Yeah. Costco is cool. Thanks man.

Can't go wrong with Costco/Kirkland.
Have them in both of my vehicles and have had no problems, and I live in the Great White North with brutally cold winters.

I bought a slightly oversized AutoCraft Gold battery from Advance Auto Parts using a $40 off discount code. Works great, very quick starting although I still get the occasional failed start which is more than likely caused by me not giving the starter time to do its job. This is a fairly rare occurrence though.

I use nothing but Interstate Batteries and I've never had a dead car. The 2 times I've had to replace them was 1: I sold the F350 6.0 Crew Dually that had 2 of them, and the batteries set on my garage bench for a long time and wasted away and 2: I moved the one in my Golf Cabrio to the trunk and needed a dry cell so had to get the H8 model which is liquid free.

I put the old one from my Cab in my Pathfinder and it's been there since 2005. Starts right up every day. I run a 200 watt Amp and 1 10" sub and a 2000 watt AC/DC power inverter with 4 Gauge 'home-run' power, and have no drop in Amperage at any time.
