Well I know that this has been heavily discussed in the past but since I am going to do my differential oil soon just wanted to post this as a guide so to speak.

I currently have Mobil 1 0-40W in my engine. And M1 synthetic in my transmission that I just put in. I would like to know what are the feelings towards Royal Purple? I have seen this oil used in so many high performance applications so there must be a reason.

I know M1 is proven but what do you guys think about RP? How about using it for everything? Engine, transmission, differential, power steering? Lets get the mental juices going here.

I'll go with what I always say, Amsoil. Honestly, Amsoil, Redline and Royal Purple are among the best out there, but in all the test results I've seen and from my own use of the product, I believe 110% in the quality of Amsoil. Also, these are all roughly the same price, so that's not an issue. Keep in mind experience too, Amsoil was THE FIRST synthetic oil product on the market, they've been making the stuff for over 30 years. Racing Beat won the 24 hours of Daytona with it in thier class, RX-7, and to this day it's the only oil they use. Honda's factory MX team has been running it, and on some ad's for their MX bikes, you see the Amsoil logo bigger than the Honda logo! I could get all the free Redline I want through my job, but I continue to pay for Amsoil.

Well, we have a box of stuff coming from them now, so I'd have to ask them to send whatever it is you want. What exactly do you want? I do like their fuel injector cleaner, so I use that stuff.

My car's had Amsoil in the motor now for about 6 months. When I start up in the morning (it's been in the mid 40's lately by the time I get in, brr, cold!) it instantly starts, and idles silently. No valve noises, nothing but the whir of the fan. I check the oil every week when I wash it, it's still perfectly full, medium gold in color and smooth between my fingers.

Anyhow, let me know what you're looking for and I'll find out.

Honestly I dont know what you have since all I saw was free and typed frantically. How about differential oil? I would like to change that out.

But what else do they offer?

Check thier website out http://www.redlineoil.com/ . I don't know either since I don't really use their stuff, but we make all their racing uniforms so they hook us up.

Well, you two let me know what you'd want, EXACTLY. This is basically supposed to be for us personally, like for personal use. I can't exactly say I need cases of stuff. But let me know what amounts of what specific stuff you want and I'll find out what I can do. My main point above was that even though I can get this stuff free to use myeslf, I still prefer to pay for Amsoil.

I will get a price for 12 quarts of 10-30, 12 quarts of 5-40, 12 quarts of ATF and 6 quarts of 75w90 gear oil. Keep in mind, shipping since it will be heavy. I figure I'll look into getting a good bit and sell you what you want. Give me a day or two.
