Hi People,

Anybody here runs Autometer oil pressure gauge (electrical)? I heard there's some clearance issue with the big pressure sender hitting oil filter. Can anybody clarify this problem (if any)? I'm in the process of acquiring the goodies for my SR swap. FYI, I am doing auto to SR manual swap too. Just finished installing manual clutch & brake pedals. For those of you who will do the same thing, It's not too hard, just tricky.

Just buy a mechanical one. Then buy an NOS T fitting it it will thread right in with all your sensors. No clearance issues.

Do you have to bring pressurized oil inside the cabin for mechanical gauge? If you do then that's the thing I don't want to since if the pipe broke then you will have a big mess inside the cabin.

I tried, it doesn't fit, so I use mechanical, install it right and you dont have to worry.

if you are that worried of getting oil in your car just get the stainless steel tubing for $30 from Summit. Now that ****s not gonna break. I've used the nylon tubing though with no problems except for the ends which you have to be careful with to get a good seal.

How about Defi D gauge? Does anybody have any fitting problem with Defi oil pressure sender?
