Has anyone tried using their auto-window open via the remote? Just hold the unlock button for a few seconds and BLAMO.

Is there a way to have them auto close?

yes, i hate this feature and am going to ask if nissan dealer can disable it. I tend to lean on my keys in my pocket and come out of where i work and my windows are all the way down.

No, there is no remote roll up feature

Funny, it seems like at least once a week someone "discovers" this feature and gets excited. I know I did when I first found out about it while reading the manual. Too bad we can't roll them back up though

That sucks you can't roll them back up.

Talking about discoveries. I just found out only the driver's side seat has the electric seat adjustment controls. Now, that is so000000000 cheap.

That's actually pretty standard in Mid-Class vehicles, Driver's side only power seats..

These new owners figuring out the new fangled features on their cars

I'll never use it, simply because you can't put them back up. Might find a use for it perhaps.

I use this feature all the time because it's hot year'round over here. I swear, my house is probably THE hottest part of the island. I wake up sweating every morning if I forget to set my AC timer to ON in the mornings. And when I step out of the house to head to work, I roll the windows down to let out some of the sauna air before I get to it.

KPtechnologies makes a module to allow the windows to go back up.

Has anyone here tried it on an Altima?

Never heard of them. Have a link for the product?

Typically, if you install an aftermarket alarm there are add-on components such as window-up, sunroof, etc.

Yeah... as I drive down the road sliding my seat forward and back, forward and back, forward and back... the sound of the motor REALLY bugs me. Who knew those weren't rated for 100% duty cycle.

Yea my BMW used to have the roll down feature too. Not roll up. I asked BMW about this one day and there explanation was its a child safety feature instituted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the windows were to roll up and a child was inside and stuck there arm out it would lodge there arm between the window and the frame and harm them. I think its pretty gay

yea well that doesnt really apply to the a/c, if you stick your arm out and close the window the window just rolls back down.

although im not sure if having a system that allows your windows to roll back up if it would affect the original manufacturing of the window electronics.

You can raise the windows back up with the KPtechnologies NM20 module.

There is a group buy going on right now with all KPtech products - zerothread?id=383073

Also, this feature is useless for Canadians!

Yeah, the UP feature is much more useful then the down feature for 75% of owners!
