Hi, just one quick question, on the manual it talked about holding the lock button on the remote for more than 3 seconds and all the window will shut. Also turning the key to the left for more than 3 seconds also does the trick. Are these only available for the convenient package. Why dont they work on my SL CVT?

I haven't heard about that, I'll check it out and report back. I have the conv. package.

-Update-My windows won't operate via either of the methods you mentioned.I found that section in the manual, and it does indeed say that the windows can be operated with the key in the lock, or rolled down with the key fob.It does say that the windows CANNOT be closed via the key fob, only opened.I wonder why this feature doesn't work? We may need to get our dealers to check this out.

Yeah, that kind of annoyed me. If I have the SL CVT w/ conv pack that theoretically is the highest trim line, so why isn't it included?

I'm thinking recall? Has ANYONE gotten this to work? I have the base model but it seemed if you have the key fob it should work. Who knows. :-\

I had the same problem with keyless entry (open the doors without taking the key out of the pocket) but then I found out that it is only for models without Intelligent Key, so may be there is some similar restriction for the windows...

My buddy has a 2003 350Z base model and his roll down. His mom has a 2005 Altima 2.5S and her's does not. I owned a 2003 XTerra SE Supercharged (top of the line) and mine did not do it.

I'll check mine once the g/f comes home from work.

My Maxi will roll the front windows down my holding the unlock button for at least 3 seconds (and continue to hold it until they are down). They won't roll back up via the fob tho.

Yeah, that pisses me off when they list a feature in the manual (window going down with unlock sounds pretty handy to me) but it doesn't actually work.

I didn't check my manual, but neither the auto up or down works for me.

I have a 07' V SL w/ conv. package. This feature did not work for me either. I also have a 07' Murano S AWD w/0 the I-Key and it works fine. Maybe the Intelligent key isn't so intelligent after all. I'll be sure to go to the dealer and find out why us Versa owners have been deprived of this wonderful feature.

I'm driving an 07 Maxima today while my car's getting the scotch guarding, and the intelligent key for the Maxima rolls down the driver and passenger front windows (just tried it on lunch today).

I'm really starting to feel like we're getting hosed for not having that available on the Versa.

i work at a nissan dealership and i know the that feature is if both of the front windows have the automatic up or down switch in the car. if they do then it will work on the key fob. if not. then its obviously not going to work. and as far as i know i dont think any versa's have both front windows with auto up/down windows.

most maximas/pathfinders/some altimas have the auto down on the key fob if you hold the lock or unlock button down (i don't remember which one it is) because most of these have both front windows with auto up/down switches in the car.
