Im not too sure if there is a difference but i have a manual 240, my radiator cracked so i got a replacement from a friend with a auto 240. when i finnaly started taking things apart i notice there are 2 tubes running out from the bottom of the radiator like small tubes on his radiator. My radiator doesn't have those tubes. i was wondering what they are and how can i fix this problem cuz i dont have another radiator. is there something i can do about that? sealing them off with something or they dont do anything... thank you in advance!!!

***how do i cap them off, sorry im a nub at this stuff...

Those are for cooling the automatic transmission fluid. I imagine the only drawback, if any, would be very slightly decreased cooling performance. Even that I doubt, though. Just cap them off so it's not full of crap if it ever needs to be used on an auto again.

the tubes go to the auto transmission cooler built into the bottom of the radiator. you can plug the tubes and use it as a normal radiator.

Just use a couple large rubber vaccum caps to cover the nipple ends.

No something else is wrong. This radiator is the same as your old one except it has the cooler. Otherwise its just something to hold coolant. You need to really bleed that cooling system good. Do a search for bleeding the cooling system. Search for "bleader funnel". You will find the proper way to blead the system if you do.
