Ive got a 91 SE 240SX wit han automatic transmission. ive seen on the 240SX.org site somethign about makign the manual shift faster by detaching a resistor. i tired it, and it does work, but the transmission does appear to be shifting alot harder. i was wondering if anyone had any information on this, if its bad for the transmission or anythign like that. i like the way it feels, but if its goign to mess up my transmission, its not worth it. thanks!

Search feature works, try it. If you still can't find an answer, go buy a spare auto transmission, you're going to need it when you blow yours.

What R240NA is trying to say, is that there are severl threads dealng with this same topic. For first had accounts, use the search feature (in the future please use it before posting a question) or, take his warning seriously...... it will hurt your transmission in the long run.... and some have said it actually INCREASED their 1/4 mile times.
