I pulled my motor and transmission yesterday, and while doing so I encountered a sensor which I believe is the inhibitor switch. I could not for the life of me get this bastard off. It was the only thing holding me up so I just cut the wires. When the motor goes back in it is going to have a five speed attached to it so I don't think I'll need the switch but I'm not positive. I'll be using an auto transmission ecu. Basically what I'm asking is when I do the five speed swap using an auto transmission ecu, will I need to have the inhibitor switch wired up but not attached to anything? Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.
Oh yeah, the shifter linkage was also attached to the sensor in question. Thanks Guys
