I have a 1993 240sx vert I just got. I was driving and the trans strated to slip in 2nd and now it won't go into gear at all is my transmission really shot or is it something else

Sounds like it is probably the trans. Good news is you should be able to find a new one really cheap.

Or MT swap it.
