My 2004 sedan is 60,000 miles and dindn't change the transmission's oil at 30,000, what are the pros and cons of doing it now?

Not many cons other than the cost. I'd have the dealer flush the transmission.

I've heard not to do it past a certain point with FORD's, but haven't heard that here. Have your Nissan dealer flush it and save you some $$$ as opposed to the Infiniti dealer.

My service advisor at the dealer indicated that they drain the transmission's oil and then re-filling with new oil as engine oil change would be done, they do not reccomend a flush. I think this is better than no oil change at all, but of course experienced opinions are well appreciated.

Do what the dealer recommends!

We drop about three or four quarts of transmission oil along with each engine oil change every 7500 miles. No flush is required and we've never had transmission problems develop.
