So my transmission light has unexpectedly started blinking (twice in 3 days) i did the diagnostic and i received a line pressure solenoid error.Im not a newbie to the engine but when it comes to the transmission i have never even laid a finger on it.
I have an HKS ALC installed so my 1st thought went to this creating the problem. Anyone have any experience when it comes to this issue?

Next question what oil to use (1993 NA Automatic), im leaning towards Redline but there are so many listed on its site im not to sure which one to choose.

Finally how many quarts if im just dropping the pan, the 8 3/4 qts im assuming this includes the oil inside the torque converter, there seems to be some saying its 5 but im not sure.

Thanks.

Good way to measure your transmission fluid is use a plastic jug with meters on the sides. How much fluid comes out is the same as how much new fluid goes in. I use Nissan Matic-D and 1 quart of Lucas Trans. Fix on my transmission. Never had a problem.
