automatic transmission problems

after driving my 93 sx on a long trip 1100 miles my transmission quit with no drive or reverse. any suggestions where i might start looking first.

check the linkage-could be busted, or if your transmission fluid is low. i remember my sentra had a problem like that. ended up being a busted transmission line and there was no fluid
