A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

I just joined and I am proud to be among all of you. I was wondering if anyone has any info that they would not mind giving me on conducting a swap in a g20, going from an automatic to manual transmission (parts needed, how-to, ect.). Thanks and I look forward to being a part of this group.

not to sound like a smart ***... but you need to change out everything that is different on the auto/manual. A quick list that I can think of now:

-Manual Transmission('01 g20 trans, strongest, and lsd) ~$500-Manual trans bellhousing bolts $20?-CV axles ~$200-Manual Clutch and brake pedal assembly with bracket/hardware $???-Driver side trans mount/bracket ~$80-Flywheel(and the required longer bolts for it) ~$50-$300-Clutch ~$100-$450-Manual trans center console/trim/shift boot $???-Manual trans shifter, and shift linkage - with brackets and hardware. $???- If you stick with the juice clutch(easiest), you also need a clutch master cylinder, clutch line, and clutch slave(if your trans didn't come with it) $???-Misc other small crap you always find broken during the process $???

And that is just a quick basic list... your best bet is to find a junkyard with a g20 of your same body style, and try to cut a deal with them and just get everything out of one car... If you havent at least changed a transmission/clutch before, I would NOT recommend trying to do this yourself. You will also need to have a good place to perform the conversion, as well as a full range of general tools.
