I have an 05 Coupe I was wondering if anyone has shortened the automatic shifter in this vehicle well largely because it looks hideous ive also heard of people using the M35 or M45 shifter assembly but in my M35 the pattern is backwards from the G can anyone help me out with this

It's not about the shifter, but you get several good views of it stripped down and looks possible to chop it down if you want, but it looks nicely low as is. You kids with your new cars. My 85 Skyline shifter was so tall I could bang my hand on the radio if I slipped off the knob on a 2-3 shift. :gapteeth:

lol thanks for the info and if it were a Five speed then i would keep it tall so i would have ease of use but since its just an automatic wanna keep it streamline as possible but again thank you

The factory shifter in my M35 is shorter then in my G is it a possibility to just swap the units out if so how would this effect the shift in the "manual" mode
