I have a 1991 240SX with automatic over the shoulder seat belts. One day, they just quit working. I can't find a fuse or anything to check to try to repair them. My mechanic replaced EVERY fuse but still no luck. Any suggestions?

Do they not do anything, or do they work in one direction and not the other? Does your seatbelt warning light still work properly?

They don't move at all. The seat belt light flashes all the time, but it doesn't ding. Its just forever flashing. I pushed them to the back, almost to where the track curves downward and just leave the belts connected and pull it over my head while I'm driving.

Take it to a nissan dealership, aren't seatbelts something nissan has to keep warranty for? I have a '91 with normal seatbelts, and i got mine fixed for free.

Thanks y'all for your guidance. I'll drop by the Nissan dealership tomorrow.

I apologize if my explanation was insulting. I didn't mean for it to be and I'm not sure how it was insulting. But again, thanks.

That is correct. The seatbelts and related equipment (ie motors) are under Lifetime Warranty and should be replaced or repaired free of charge at any Nissan Dealership. I had mine repaired about 2 years ago. Free.
