just purchased an M35 sport last week. I have the headlights set to "auto" setting. When it's daylight and I'm under a freeway underpass, the lights turn on, but when I come back out of it they don't turn off. Same goes when I start the car in my garage and they turn on .... when i pull the car out of the garage into daylight they don't turn off.

I previously had a Lexus with a similar feature and they turned on and off automatically depending on the light outside.

In the comfort and convenience settings, I have the setting one space to the left of center.

Is this something I need to have the dealer look at?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Welcome to NICO!

There is a sensitivity setting that you can adjust for this. It is on one of the setup screens. I have the older 2003 model, so cannot give you the exact button presses, but it should be described in your owner's manual.

If, as you noted, this setting changes are insufficient, you should definitely have the dealer look at the car and test the light sensor, etc.

I've played around with the setting on the screen and it doesn't seem to be affecting the lights turning off.

Then, I'd definitely have the dealer look at it. May be some sensor problem.
