I am swapping a blacktop SR w/5 spd into a 91 DOHC Automatic.

The tach is an auto tach with 0-110 MPH in increments of 10, unlike the manual ones i have seen.

I am doing a manual conversion with the 2 pedals setups , the hardline, the shift boots and everything.

Now my question, what do I have to do to get an accurate reading from the SR transmission with this automatic cluster I have?

What other modifications should I do to get this car to function like a manual 240 with a swap? Can someone tell me what else is needed to feed the SR20 ECU with as much sensor information as possible from this 240sx automatic chassis?

Should I get a manual transmission harness from a KA to use with the swap also?

If you're keeping the USDM cluster(the auto one), then u need a USDM manual transmission sensor.

If you're going to use the JDM cluster, then you can sensor from the sr transmission. I haven't tried it yet but go here for more info. http://zeroyon.com

Not sure what you mean. You say "tach", but then you mention MPH. A tach reads RPM, while a speedometer reads MPH.

A tach is a tach is a tach. It has nothing to do with the transmission, so your tach will work fine. Your motor was a KA24DE, so the tach will function with a SR just fine.

You'll need to use either the sub-harness off the SR (if it came with one), or get yourself a 5-speed KA subharness.

There are a few wiring issues to go over with a auto - 5speed conversion. They've been covered on the this forum, just search.

Also, if the SR is from a S13, you don't need to swap any sensors. The transmission's speed sensor will work as is.
