Maybe I'm the only person in the world who didn't knew about this but I just found out that when I was reversing to park the car, the side mirror automatically readjusted to view bottom side of my car and back to preset when I put the shifter in D again and vice versa. I found out that it happens when you turn the adjusting knob to left/right when you reverse. I thought it was pretty neat feature :)

RTFM, Kim. There are many little surprises in there.

Glad you found this one.

Yeah, I found that out in an Arby's drive thru, right after I bought the car. We had to back-up, to get a different drink. I was looking in the mirror, and it tilted down. Sweet. If only it had automatic headlights...

I let my wife drive on a long trip, just so I could read the owner's manual. There are a lot of cool things in there.

I am not sure if the 90-93's have that.

Neither, evidently, do the 1997-2001 Y33 Q45.

What's up with that?__________________Brian1995 Q45 & Q45t & 2000 Q45

While we're on the subject of subtle features, I wanted to remind everyone that the headrests manually tilt. Also, behind the sunroof switch console is a center sun visor.

Yes...... Most people laugh at the "center sun visor", but I laugh at them when the sun is right in between the roof and the rear view mirror!!!!!! :D

One more thing!I just found out last night that when you pull the door handle from the outside, little green light illuminates around the keyhole on the door. Neat huh? :)

It is a little bit different in the M45. No tilt-down shade, but a deep dark area on the glass (using large black dots) that serves the same function. You can also slide over two tabs from the regular sunshades that covers that area, or when turned to the sides. Cool!

Are you making fun of me Jesda? Just because it took me 3 years to realize my headrests tilted.... :(

Hey, did you guys know if you punch the throttle in a well-maintained Q45, the "smokescreen" feature is automatically activated?

Plus, it has this (real primitive) Navigation system: Follow the black stripes to return from whence you came!

:D
