Automate door lock using an external key

Hey all,

I have a 1997 nissan sentra gxe sedan and want to automate the central lock using an external key. The car has a driver door operated central locking system but I guess I'm just getting adventurous to modify that to use an external rfid key tag to open the car.

Is there a tool-kit or a mechanism where I can program the car's computer to recognize an external key?

So you're looking to do what VW has done to their vehicles? What I mean is you want to put the key in the outside door lock, turn it and have the doors lock/unlock?
