told by salesman that this car had an auto lock feature. Is this true and how do I engage the auto lock

To answer your question. No. But if you want it you can put a module in cost you less them 50.

Maybe he meant that if you push that little black button on the door handle the doors (all of them) lock. I looked in my manual and saw nothing about "auto" locking.

Welcome to NICO

Why not go back to the dealer & hunt down the salesman that told you that?Go on a busy Saturday. Perhaps you can get some $$$ refunded to you if the feature doesn't work as he said it does. He probably used to work for Honda because the wife's 99 Civic has that feature. I believe it is part of the alarm system. As soon as you put the car in gear all doors lock.

My car tends to Auto lock after I turn it off and leave. Is this normal? I almost locked my keys inside once when I was cleaning my car. I left it unlocked in my drive way. When I came back it auto locked. Luckily the keys were in my pocket.

yeah. if you unlock your doors from your key fob. and you dont open the door in a certain amount of time then they lock automatically. is this what youre talkin about?

Yes something like that. I didn't take the time to investigate under which conditions this happens, I just know the car was parked and it locked automatically without me pressing anything.
