Don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but I just saw some Autoglym HD wax being sold at my local Wal-Mart. It runs $35 and includes 2 foam applicators and a nice microfiber. I know this might seem kinda high for wax, but this is a high-end wax that usually can't be bought over the counter.

Rates excellent for durability and protection. Gonna pick me up some this weekend. Anyone ever used this before? I've only read great things about it, so I figured I'd give it a try. $35 really isn't that much when it comes to protecting my Rogue

It's funny how year after year after year, companies come up with more and more high tech waxes that go on easier, wipe off faster, claim better protection, etc., but year after year after year, the expert consensus has been that the best wax you can put on your car is 100% carnuba, which you can get pretty much anywhere and it doesn't cost $35 a bottle.

Anyway, short of putting a gun to my head, you'd never get me to shop at a Wal-Mart.

Carnauba wax alone is actually not that great as a protecterant. It is great for appearance however.

The experts do actually say that this Autoglym stuff is great and it contains carnauba wax and is completely free of abrasives. It sheets the water off of your car as opposed to beading, which is way better to keep water spots in check, and is very durable.

The polymers in the new waxes, as opposed to a 100% carnuba is what adds the protection.

$35 is actually very reasonable for this wax. Autoglym has been around for more than 30 years and the higher end car manufacturers use it(Aston Martin, Mercedes, etc.)I'm gonna pick some up, like I said. I'll let anyone who is interested know how it works out.
