Not the greatest pictures, but obviously I'm not taking them. This was my first and only AutoX so far. I hope to give it another go this season.

I'm pissed that the last 2 of our season here have been rained out:( The course was over a mile long (done at an old airfield) I really wanted to test out my new suspension on some competetive corners instead of the ones in the backwoods;)

ours are usually like 30-60 seconds to get through the course, usually about 100 or so cars show up so we get about 5 runs

ELITE: there should be an autocross club or SCCA division near the closest big city, check it out search on google for <your city> SCCA

Here's me from the first auto-x this season. I was at the stage in this one.

Body Roll and understeer > me

Answers and Questions:

ELITEBB127108: Do some research. You can try the SCCA homepage and look up Solo II rules and regs. Or do a google search for autocross.

Matt: My mechanic was racing his 510 this one time and was sitting in between a modded out C4 vette (i met the guy this year and he's dumped more than 15 grand in his engine alone) and a very nice BMW M3. Someone was walking by and said "$60,000 car, $300 car, $30,000 car. Lemme guess which one wins :)" Yeah. He won FTD.

SHIFTrl240: How big is that file? It took me a loooong time to download it.

I see you all wear helmets....is it mandatory in your location?

In our local guidelines it's optional....or I think.

hmm...I guess it's mandatory in our local autox as well then. It's just that they forgot to state it in the website. And yeah, not wearing helmets is stupid....i'd sport one.
