I know the windows on my I35 go down when you hold the unlock button, but are they supposed to roll back up when you hold the lock button?

It seems weird that you can only put them down with the remote - if you accidently held the unlock button and the windows went down, you'd have to go all the way back to the car, get back in, put the key in the ignition, and put up the windows that way.

The remote will not allow you to roll up the windows (only down), but if you put the key in the driver's side door lock, you can roll the windows up or down by just turning the key in either direction.

I read that in the manual the other day when I was messing with the windows. I was surfing the Maxima.org forum last night and found (but of course, I don't remember the name of the website it was at) but I found a module that lets you open/close the sunroof w/ the remote, too. There was also a module that allowed you to close the windows w/ the remote. Both were $50 I think.

If I find the site again, I'll post it here. There were several other nifty little modules to make your car do stuff from the remote, so Im sure others will find the site interesting, too.

Wasn't aware of using the key in the lock to roll up the windows. I'll have to give that a try altho I will never use it "day to day".

Guess you can get the window and sunroof modules to open/close them simultaneously. I simply don't know why you would want to do it. Having the sunroof remotely open and close (pop up, not fully open) may be useful with venting but you would have to remember to keep the shade cracked as well. The only module that seems interesting to me is the window rollup and that in itself is not enough for me to want to splice up the factory harness

Personally, I miss my automatic locks. I'd be interested in that module from the website.

I live in a nice part of town, but have to drive through the ghetto to get to work everyday. Anyone who drives that same route knows to lock their doors, and never stop at the one stoplight unless you want to be yanked out of your car at gunpoint and have your car stolen.

I usually forget to lock the doors because Im not used to having to lock them myself. I found it odd that Infiniti doesnt have that feature.
