2006 M35 x
As of late, the key fob no longer locks/unlocks the drives side door. All other doors/trunk work fine, so its not a matter of programming the key fob, its specific to one door only
I assume there is a sensor 'somewhere' that initiates the lock/unlock mechanism but I am not sure
Any feedback would be welcomed

Have tried to lock the door using the lock/unlock switch.. And does the driver door lock with the switch?

By 'Switch' you mean the door handle button? If so, ya, I've tried that as well and it still does not function.
Mechanically, the lock/unlock mechanism does function; from inside the car I can manually lock it or unlock it, that's why my thought was it was a sensor or something electrical

If you press the button you hear nothing? Could be the actuator in the door.
