Hi All, brand new here, but not new to the Z car. I have owned 6 in the past 30 years, a 240, 260, 280, 280ZX turbo, two Z31's and now have a 1993 Z32 and truly love this vehicle. However having said that, I have to admit that I know nothing of the Z32 model. So, that's a little bit of history. I just bought this car about a month ago and have been bringing it back to life as it stood in a driveway, neglected, and saw little to no use at all. Fortunately, everything seems to work well, with 92000+ on the engine, a new timing belt installed at 86000 and a rebuilt transmission put in about 2009 (owner had receipts) and a host of other things that were done that I was showed receipts for. However I'm having a transmission problem, today and a few days ago it did not want to shift out of first. The engine revved up past 5 grand and it did not shift. I shifted to neutral and back to drive and it still tached up there. I even tried the OD button, and it still did not shift. I pulled to the side of the road and put it in park and then back to drive and it shifted normally. This is the second time it has done this. I checked the fluid and it was topped off and very clean. So, I'm curious if anyone may know what might have happened. I would like to check here first before I drag it down to Nissan. Thanks in advance for any help and I look forward to being a member here
Tony
