1993 240sx, 125K, all stock.
Having some issues with the trans - On occasion, it will refuse to upshift into 3rd. At first I thought this was related to temperature (the first time it happened the car was cold). However, this morning it happened about 10 minutes after startup.
I pulled over, stopped, rowed through the gears a few times manually, then took off, and it shifted normally.
Recently changed the fluid, level seems to be OK (I'll check again).
Any ideas?
p.s. Save the "manual swap" ideas - I'm keeping the auto (unless it's DOA).
