Auto trans install ? all those wires!!!!

Installing auto trans in 89 240 {was std }for oval track stock car to run it in second. Do I need all/any trans wires conected or is just manual shifting needed.

yes or the trans will run only in third gear and it also wont start without the inhibitor unless you by pass that.

Anyone with wiring diagram for trans or is this just a track all the wires down in a car with auto harness type of job?

actually if your gonna race it chris's idea is a good one. you could chuck all the wiring and run the manual control valve body.
