Auto trans in 1992 convert problem

I have a 1992 convert with about 115K miles and infrequently the trans seems to go into neutral between first and second. It only occurs when starting out in first if I completely let off the gas before it shifts into second. Trans fluid and filter was changed at about 110K. Any thoughts?

My 240 had 125k on it and started slipping when it heated up. I read somewhere on here that someone had a problem like yours and it fixed with a new valve body. I just replaced mine with another used trans...

In response to replacing your transmission, how much did that set you back? Where did you get your replacement? Any other info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
