auto transmission slipping

when I drive my car and depress the gas pedal about 3/4 the way it slips. The sound is similar to when the clutch slips. Its really irritating cause when it goes to 2nd the car jukes me forward. I dont like it! what is the problem with it?

and you drive a 1982 datsun 200sx?

have you checked the fluid level?

need new clutch or u have no fluid check the fluid level first

torque converter slippage on the turbine side. it must have f***ed up flow on the turbine side (transmission side). check the fluid levels, smell the fluid. if it smells worse than a decomposed animal, then u have burnt fluid. i suggest looking to get a new torque converter, because more than likely the turbine side is bad.
