Heres the problem. In town driving is excellent, no problems, however, accelerating onto the freeway, sometimes it revs in the 4k area before it shifts when normally it is around 3.5k. Ive replaced the injector o-rings and that helped for a little while. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm a noob so don't flame me.

Well, are you accelerating harder than normal? If you are gassing the crap out of the car, of course it is going to wait until a higher rpm to shift & won't do so as smoothly... that's with basically any car.

Also keep in mind your car many years old.

Have you checked the transmission fluid to make sure it is at the proper level, looks good/pinkish (although that test has been controversial on whether or not it is an effective test for good fluid), etc?

Thanks for the replies, Trany fluid looks good, levels are good. It probably is as you said about accelerating, hauling *** to work in the mornings and all. 5 speed is in the works, Vodka. I need more loot!!
