How much would it cost to rebuild a 89 s13 auto transmission.Is it worth to take out of the car and take to the shop?

why dont you call a shop and get a quote? prices range from area to area.

to give you an idea.. i found a reciept in my glove box when i bought the car.. it was from a transmission shop and they rebuilt the auto trans in 1997. the cost was 1400 dollars
