Auto-touch on Windows not working

Hi Guys,

I recently got a tint job done on my 06 m35x. The auto-touch feature on the front windows is not working correctly. The windows roll down on a single touch, which is good, but they dont roll up on a single touch. I will have to hold the button up for it to go all the way up.

The rear windows are working perfectly. I spoke to the tint guy and he said that sometimes the windows need to be re-initialized.

Can anyone please provide some suggestions on what i can do to re-initialize the windows?

Never heard of anything like this happening before after getting the windows tinted, but maybe you can unplug the neg battery cable and it might re set itself...good luck and let us know what happens....u could always swing it by the dealer and have them check it out too.

i have read this before on here (not from window tinting though). There is some sort of reset procedure, which may be in the owners manual if I remember.

Yet another person who did not their manual....wow.

Luckily I remember this one off hand..

- open window to 1/2 way down or below, but not all the way down.- pause- manual all the way down.- manual all the way...AND hold for 3-4 secs after getting all the way up.- Then auto down- test auto up...................

(confession: I didn't know this was in the manual either).
