does anyone know how to get the speedometer to work after a auto to manual swap? i dont know what wires should be spliced together from the manual trans harness to the auto relay box.

i looked through the forums and cant find any good answer to my problem.

no splicing needed. you need to deal with the reverse lights. look at the sticky I posted with both the s13 and s14 swaps.

so if i fix the reverse lights my speedometer should work?

no you don't need to fix the reverse lights in order for the speedo to work. The speedometer plug is already on the transmission, your harness should have one that plugs in. If you've been driving and the speed isn't showing, if you know you've plugged it up, then your speed sensor is bad (happened to me). As far as the reverse light wiring goes. You WILL have to splice into some wires that come off the 'inhibitor switch'. I believe they're both green. Search man, its easily done good luck!

thanks for the reply

i know how to do the reverse lights. there is only one plug on my manual trans harness that actually plugs right up. the middle plug of the three plugs at the fuse box is the only one that plugs right in. im trying to figure out away to cut off the other plugs on the manual trans harness to splice to the one of three plugs on the fuse box.
