I am going to do the auto to manual swap, but im being told that I will need the entire manual harness( engine and trany) and it is not part of the auto harness. I looked at the auto to manual install but it does'ent say much about wireing. what have others done about wireing?

Let me preface this, I have never worked on a 240SX. I have done five speed swaps on Silvias and Skylines but it should be the same. You just need to hack into the wiring that went to the auto to jump the neutral safety swicth and hook up the reverse lights. I have never had to change harnesses or computers.

if i jump the neutral switch this means the car turn over in gear right? not a big deal as long as you know its going to happen. also will the car start without the clutch being pushed? and will all the connectors on the trany be used?

yes the car will crank in gear. You will cut the harness that goes to the auto, identify which two wires activate the backup lights and then determine which of the likely two plunger switches on the manual is for the reverse lights and connect the two. The switch will have continuity with the box shifted into reverse. The neutral switch is most likely the other plunger switch on the manual. If it has continuity with the box in neutral it's a NSS. you can wire that up if you are uncomfortable with just jumping it.
