Hey there, i currently have a 97 240sx with an automatic transmission. I am going to be purchasing a full rb20det front clip, so it'll include everything i need. Can i use the rb parts to also swap the transmission over to manual or are there certain things that need to be 240sx specifically? (pedal assymbly; master cylinder; slave cylinder; lines; etc.) Thanx

I KNOW ALL THE R32 PARTS FIT INTO THE S13 (NOT SURE ON THE S14). YOU ARE GOING TO NEED A S14 MANUAL DRIVESHAFT AND S14 CLUTCH LINES.

I know s13 JDM and s14 jdm pedals wont work on USDM s13/s14 so i doubt (highly like 99.8% sure) r32 or r33 would work either and you will need the master cylinder for the clutch but the slave cylinder and line should be fine.

THE S13 AND R32, IF YOU PUT THEM SIDE BY SIDE YOU CAN HARDLY TELL. WELL THATS JUST ME, I HAD IT BOLTED IN AT ONE POINT, BUT I REMOVED IT BECAUSE SOMEONE WANTED THEM AND THEN FLAKED OUT.

a few more questions to throw out there, one, when i wire the new engine in, which of the gauges wont work correctly and therefore need replaced with aftermarkets, and also, biggest question, what is anyone out there using for an intercooler kit. I searched around for this one, but the only site that was posted, was all in japanese, so it was a little difficult for me to navigate through it. thanx again guys

you will need from your clip:pedal setclutch master and slave cylinders

you will need to purchase:s14 clutch liness14 pedal set(possible fitiment problems with r32 into s14)manual shifter bezals14 manual driveshaft

other questions answers:you can use the entire gauge cluster minus the tach (the r32 tach with swap into the cluster though)you will need to purchase a boost gaugeI heard the r32 ic kits will fit a s13 and the r33 ic kits fit the s14 (havent tried but was told these work)..... I personally did my own piping.

hey thanx bro, sorry to sound totally new to all of this, i try to read as much as possible on these forums before posting questions, so i dont sound like an idiot, but also, how did you do your own piping, like, did u get a universal ic pipe kit, and if so from where. and last question (i sware) i want to use a apex cat-back exhaust, will it bolt on, or do i need to purchase a custom downpipe? i dont have welding tools, so i was hoping that it would bolt up, again, thanx for all your answers

OK,

IC PIPING:I PURCHASED 2.5" PIPE FROM A LOCAL EXHAUST SHOP AND 90 DEGREE BENDS FROM http://WWW.OPTAUTO.COM I JUST ASSEMBLED THE PIPING FROM THE MANIFOLD TO THE IC AND BACK. TOTAL COST ABOUT $80.

EXHAUST:EVERY PEICE OF THE EXHAUST SYSTEM FITS AND WILL WORK. IF YOU NEED A DOWNPIPE (WHICH YOU WILL UNLESS YOU HAVE ONE) THERE ARE CUSTOM PIPES MADE BY VARIOUS SUPPLIERS OR YOU CAN USE THE SR20 ONES.

DON'T BE SORRY BECAUSE YOUR ASKING QUESTIONS BECAUSE THAT IS HOW ALL OF US LEARNED. THE PEOPLE THAT SHOULD BE SORRY ARE THE ONES WHO BLOW PEOPLE OFF AND TAKE THE EASY ROUTE.... "SEARCH", WE ALL LEARNED FROM OTHERS IN SOME WAY SO WHY NOT GIVE BACK?
