auto to manual transmission swap estimate???

For those who have had an auto and had it swapped to a manual, how much did it cost?

Cheap side, using all stock parts, even old clutch, $400-$800.

Expensive side, using new clutch, rebuilt/new slave and mater cylinders, etc, $1000-$1500.

It all depends on the junkyards you get the parts from and how much they charge. Generally, if you can find a yard that has everything in one vehicle, you can work a deal out with them to get everything from it all at once. Just talk and haggle with them.

around $400 bucks if you get everything used.. i got the transmission for $50 bucks it was 50% off wait until junkyards have specials in case transmission doesn't work you won't have to pay full prize

$1200 total for me (everything used except for clutch kit, flywheel, clutch fluid/slave cylinders, and lines.)

If you find a salvage yard with a 240 with the transmission and everything still in it ask if you can come over and pull it yourself (if you can do it.) They knocked $150 off the price of my friend's parts because he yanked everything himself.

a shop in portland said they'll do the parts and labor for $750 all used parts
