auto to manual

hey, having had a 240sx given to me, i didnt have the choice of auto or manual. now that i've fallen in love w/ the car, and wanna pump massive amounts of cash into it, i would love to be able to drive it stick. i was just wondering if this was a worthy modification, and whats all involved, (parts, cost, degree of difficulty), thanks.
